Space Program Pillows
Description: A few weeks ago I was watching a series called "For All Mankind" with some friends. It was an alternative history of the space race -- highly recommended if you haven't watched it yet -- and reminded me a lot of a book I read last year called "The Calculating Stars" -- again, highly recommended. Anyway, one thing led to another, and I started doodling what would SpaceX's logo would look like if it had evolved from NASA's original logos from back in the 60s and 70s, and then I made this version, which is based on the NASA logo from the 1980s and the space shuttle program. Hope you like it!

Description: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA /ˈnæsə/) is an independent agency of the executive branch of the United States federal government responsible for the civilian space program as well as aeronautics and aerospace research.[note 1] President Dwight D. Eisenhower established NASA in 1958[7] with a distinctly civilian (rather than military) orientation encouraging peaceful applications in space science. The National Aeronautics and Space Act was passed on July 29, 1958, disestablishing NASA's predecessor, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA). The new agency became operational on October 1, 1958.[8][9] (wikipedia)
Description: This design is a high-impact, retro-vintage tribute to NASA's upcoming lunar mission. Combining a bold "Artemis 2026" headline with a striking graphic of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket ascending against a massive, detailed full moon, the artwork captures the awe of human exploration. The vibrant orange and white smoke clouds provide a pop of color against the black background, evoking a sense of nostalgic futurism. It is designed specifically for space enthusiasts, STEM advocates, and science nerds who want to celebrate the historic return to the lunar surface.
