Description: The Hannya mask is a traditional Japanese mask used in Noh theater and often represented in various art forms. It portrays the face of a woman transformed into a demon, characterized by sharp horns, a leering mouth, and intense, angry eyes. The mask symbolizes a complex range of emotions, including jealousy, rage, and sorrow. It's often associated with stories of betrayal and intense emotional conflict. In tattoo art, the Hannya mask can represent the duality of human nature and the struggle with inner demons. It's a popular choice for those seeking a tattoo that captures the interplay between beauty and darkness.
