Description: On March 2, 1980, Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena sets the stage for a high-stakes welterweight collision between rising knockout artist Thomas "Hitman" Hearns and former WBA world champion Ángel Espada. Fighting in front of a roaring hometown crowd, the undefeated Hearns brings towering height, devastating leverage, and dynamic hand speed. Puerto Rico’s battle-tested Espada brings veteran cunning and years of world-class experience, determined to derail the young contender's momentum. With a potential world title shot hanging in the balance, both fighters step under the bright lights ready to deliver pure drama.
Description: An idea came to me earlier this year: the American Bald Eagle, made into a Griffin. The Griffin is a symbol of protection, destructive in power but protects mountain passages and castles, which America provides during our period of the Pax Americana. The body shows continuation of English heritage via the White English Dragon, but it is it's own thing now as dragon is mixed with the bald eagle. The snake tail, partnered with the yellow quarter, is a callback to one of America's oldest flags, the Gadsden flag bearing the Timberwood Rattler. Art credit goes to "I.M. Anathema". Thank you for the work!
