Description: This is my acrylic painting of an albatross soaring across the sea. These birds have a very large wingspan, some up to 11 feet. Albatrosses can travel long distances with dynamic and slope soaring. They have been called the most legendary of all birds. Albatrosses can be seen as a sign of good or bad luck. A large albatross with black and white plumage soars gracefully over a calm, blue sea. In the distance, a small sailboat is visible against a backdrop of soft, fluffy clouds and several other flying birds. This bird painting is included in the bird playing card game called “Chirp Up”.
