Weird Sci Fi Pillows
Description: Although it is not a human subject, "Rabbit" from the 1983 horror classic Twilight Zone: The Movie was just as challenging for me to make. The original painting has been sold but now you can buy the adorable critter here. This image *is* from a painting and not a still from the film so know there are brush and canvas marks!

Description: "If I say that my somewhat extravagant imagination yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature, I shall not be unfaithful to the spirit of the thing. A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings; but it was the general outline of the whole which made it most shockingly frightful.” - H. P. Lovecraft, "The Call of Cthulhu"
Description: “The Thing cannot be described - there is no language for such abysms of shrieking and immemorial lunacy, such eldritch contradictions of all matter, force, and cosmic order. A mountain walked or stumbled. If I say that my somewhat extravagant imagination yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature, I shall not be unfaithful to the spirit of the thing. A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings; but it was the general outline of the whole which made it most shockingly frightful.” - H. P. Lovecraft, "The Call of Cthulhu"
Description: As night falls over the Black Lagoon a cold eery fog creeps it’s way over. A deadly still silence fills the air as if time itself was frozen within a single frame. Suddenly the murky water ripples and bubbles from beneath- a presence draws near! The ground itself begins to quake and waves lift themselves as high as mountain tops. Slowly a shadowy monster appears, its scale like skin shimmers in the moonlight and a roar cracks through the silence as loud as an atomic explosion. Cthulhu rises from the watery depths like a god ascending! Cthulhu has come to walk dry land for food. None can escape the wraith of Cthulhu from the Black Lagoon!!
