I have been a fan of Doctor who since the 70s. Over the past few years i have done a series of Paintings from Space and time to pop art splat. This is part of the The time and space series which is making the Doctor and tardis part of the universe and time. The original paintings that these images come from are much bigger and in a Wide screen style. To use these for T shirts etc I have cropped the design and modified them from my original paintings.

I was watching a documentary a while back about an artist. He recommended artists should exaggerate features, so I thought I'd give it a try. I quite like it.

I painted this shortly after they announced that River Song would return for the 2015 Christmas special. I love River Song. On Facebook, I wrote: "I suspect that this will be her final appearance and I hope that the episode will circle back to her first appearance - "The last time I saw you—the real you, the future you, I mean—you turned up on my doorstep with a new haircut and a suit.
