The Hemelinger Actien Brauerei was a brewery that had been based in what was then a Bremen suburb and is now the district of Hemelingen since 1878. In 1921, the Aktienbrauerei was taken over by Beck & Co. The HAB brewery was closed in 1981. The original company premises on Hemelinger Bahnhofstrasse were used for a long time as a branch and distribution warehouse for Beck & Co. and as a bottling plant for Bremer Erfrischungsgetränke GmbH (concessionaire for Coca-Cola). In 2007, the company was taken over by Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke GmbH ; the site was closed on July 1, 2016.
