Bathurst Australia Bags
Description: The General Attacks! Based on the 1968 HK Holden Kingswood, this beautifully styled coupe could be powered by the Holden straight six, or as in the GTS version, a Chevrolet 327 cubic inch V8 and four-speed manual transmission. With Ford winning the 1967 Bathurst 500 race with its first Falcon GT model (powered by a Mustang 289 cubic inch V8), Holden hit back by winning the 1968 enduro. And comfortably too: the first four placings were Monaro GTS, Monaro GTS, Monaro GTS, Monaro GTS. This was the first outright Bathurst 500/1000 win by Holden. This white line art drawing is one in a series of rear end views of classic U.S. and Australian classic cars.
Description: At their peak, the Gilbert-Hall Gang was a force to be reckoned with, holding entire towns prisoner when the whim took them. Here we see Mickey Burke, John O'Meally, John Vane, Johnny Gilbert and Ben Hall as they would have looked at the height of the gang's infamy in the early 1860s.
Description: The Commodore SS Group A was heavily modified by Holden's official performance tuner, originally the Holden Dealer Team. The SS Group A existed primarily as a homologation special, created specifically so a racing optimised version of the Commodore could be utilised for Group A touring car motor racing.
