Description: Step into the soulful history of Gip’s Place with this hand-drawn recreation, inspired by a painted stool found at the legendary Bessemer, Alabama juke joint. Founded by bluesman Henry “Gip” Gipson, Gip’s Place was one of the last true backyard blues clubs, where music lovers gathered under the stars to experience raw, unfiltered Southern blues. With its iconic slogan—Blessings and Blues Since 1952—Gip’s Place was more than just a venue; it was a sanctuary for music, community, and good times. Whether you were lucky enough to visit before its closure or just appreciate deep Southern blues culture, this tee is a must-have for any music lover and keeps the juke joint spirit alive!
