Description: China National Space Administration (CNSA) (Chinese: 国家航天局; pinyin: Guójiā Hángtiān Jú) is the national space agency of China. It is responsible for the national space program and for planning and development of space activities. CNSA and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) assumed the authority over space development efforts previously held by the Ministry of Aerospace Industry. It is a subordinate agency of the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence (SASTIND), itself a subordinate agency of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The headquarters are in Haidian District, Beijing.
Description: Chang'e 5 (Chinese: 嫦娥五号; pinyin: Cháng'é wǔhào) is an ongoing robotic Chinese lunar exploration mission consisting of a service module, lunar lander, ascender, and a sample-return vehicle. It was launched on November 23, 2020 20:30 UTC and is expected to land on the moon sometime after November 27, and return to Earth around December 16–17.[5][6] Chang'e 5 will be China's first sample return mission, aiming to return at least 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds) of lunar soil and rock samples back to the Earth.[3] Like its predecessors, the spacecraft is named after the Chinese Moon goddess, Chang'e.
