Datura Bags
Description: Sacred datura is one of the most beautiful and mysterious plants of the Arizona Sonoran Desert. While it has been used sparingly as a ritual deliriant and medicinal narcotic among native populations, it is dangerously poisonous for those who do not know how to prepare it correctly. Chiefly nocturnal, its delicate and other-worldly blooms can be captured at dawn and twilight near dry washes and riparian areas from April to October but most abundantly during monsoon season after heavy rains and floods.
Description: A beautifully detailed vintage botanical illustration featuring a realistic human skull surrounded by iconic poisonous plants and fly agaric mushrooms. Inspired by antique botanical textbooks, this dark cottagecore design blends gothic elegance with natural history in rich muted colors. Perfect for plant lovers, botanists, herbalists, mushroom enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates dark botanical aesthetics.
Description: A striking vintage botanical design featuring a detailed skull surrounded by foxglove, lily of the valley, Amanita muscaria, and Datura. The darkly humorous “All Plants Are Edible, Some Only Once” theme blends antique engraving aesthetics with gothic cottagecore charm. Perfect for plant lovers, gardeners, botanists, nature enthusiasts, and fans of dark humor.
Description: This design features a great horned owl in flight, its wings spread wide against a background of a stippled crescent moon. Several feathers are shown drifting down from the owl toward the botanical scene below. At the base of the print, there is a cluster of foxglove stalks and blooming datura flowers. The entire piece is rendered in a dark, fine-line ink style that mimics a vintage woodcut or botanical etching. It has a quiet, nocturnal mood that focuses on the interplay between the wildlife and the forest floor plants. The imagery is monochromatic and sharp, showing high contrast details in the bird's plumage and the petals of the flowers.
