Description: “Whoa…! Here - where’s my camera? Aah, got it! Battery? Check! SD? Check! Focus? Find the foreground object first…. Wait! Tripod…? Good, got it!” Running for the very edge of the Colorado Plateau, I reach the western aspect of the rocky ledge just in time. Beneath my feet - nothing. Or rather nothing for about 2,750 (838 m.) to 3,000 feet (914 m.) straight down. Down to where the Arizona plateau and lowlands stretch off towards the south and Mexico. A sheer drop of about 3,000 feet. Talk about being in the correct place at the correct time. Many times have I experienced the wonder and consciousness stretching abilities of Nature. Then, quite unexpectedly - it happens again, and again… as it happened with Sunset from the Mogollon Rim!
