Although it has the look of a church that is much older, it was built in the 1870s as a memorial to someone that had been murdered. That aside, the interior of the church is lavish, being rich in stained glass and beautiful furnishings. Ironically, the church is now redundant as a parish church, being used now for just the occasional service, weddings, and funerals. However, you can visit the church, you can even ring the bell.
