Description: The 1st Battalion 32nd Field Artillery Regiment "Proud Americans" was a Lance Missile battalion garrisoned at Fliegerhorst Kaserne in the Erlensee area of Hanau, West Germany from 1960 when it was activated as an Honest John unit. 1st Battalion later became a Lance battalion from 1974 through 1992 when it became part of 3rd Armored Division, V Corps and returned to Fort Sill to become a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) unit which it remains today. 1/32 FA consisted of 5 Batteries: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Headquarters, and Service Batteries, and was inactivated in 1992 as a Lance Missile unit and reactivated as a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) unit. The unit patch worn was the 41st FA Brigade which was under V Corps Artillery.

Description: The 84th Field Artillery Battery (762mm Rkt) was activated on 1 March 1954 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. On 16 January 1955 the unit shipped out of Fort Sill for reassignment overseas. The battery arrived in Germany on 5 February 1955 and was attached to the 30th Field Artillery Group, Hanau, Germany. The 84th Rocket Battery May 1956 and was then transferred to HQ Btry of the 30th FA Group. The 84th and the 30th HQ were both in Yorkhof Kaserne in Hanau.

Description: I saw this in a museum in Hanau. It seems that witches really made a pest of themselves to the point where a local gunmaker named stuck came up with a way to get rid of them. Soon, those broom-riding vermin emigrated France, where that sort of thing was more tolerated. Or at least that's what the Germans told me.
