Description: ChicagoFest was a summer music festival established in 1978 in Chicago, Illinois. It was a two-week event held annually at Navy Pier that featured sixteen stages, each sponsored by a national brand and a local radio station sponsor, that broadcasted live from their respective stages. The stages were: Rock, Classic Rock, Country, Blues, Comedy, Roller Disco, Pin Ball Arcade, Jazz, Children's, Variety, Ethnic, as well as a main stage seating 30,000. There were approximately 600 live performances by headline artists each year, making ChicagoFest an extremely popular event. The festival moved to Soldier Field in 1983, but sadly, lost a lot of the magic that came with it being on the water at Navy Pier, so that would be the final ChicagoFest.
Description: At the age of 15, Rocky Panzo and his family moved to Chicago from Italy in 1914. Rocky began working as a commercial perch fisherman to help support the family, and eventually opened his own bait shop. Located on Chicago's famous Navy Pier, long before it would be transformed into the polished tourist attraction it is today, Rocky's Bait Shop was a favorite of both commercial fishermen and amateur anglers alike. Rocky's relic of a shack at 138 N. Streeter Dr. sat amidst the ramshackle area that made up the water’s edge for decades, providing fresh bait and, as Rocky called it, questionable advice. Eventually, Rocky's sons joined up, adding a fried seafood trailer and changing the name to Rocky and Sons Fish House in the early '60s.

Description: This South Haven Michigan design depicts the South Beach Lighthouse with fishermen on the pier and a retro vintage stye sunset. Also included in the design is a Monarch Butterfly and Blueberries. Monarchs are commonly seen here when migrating in the Fall and South Haven is famous for its Blueberry Festival in August and blueberry picking at farms nearby and in the West Michigan area.
Description: "Duluth Harbor North Pier Light" This lighthouse is located on the north breakwater of the Duluth Ship Canal in Duluth, Minnesota. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. I transformed my original photograph with a subtle painterly effect, creating photo art while preserving the scene I experienced.
