Mining Camp Bags
Description: Located in Apache Junction, Arizona, the Mining Camp Restaurant & Trading Post sat at the base of the Superstition Mountains for over five decades. Sitting right at the beginning of the Apache Trail and fashioned to look like a traditional Western town, complete with wooden buildings, wagons, and mining-related tools around the property, the Mining Camp was a throwback to the earliest days of Arizona's rich mining history right in the shadow of the Superstitions, which were home to several mining operations and, most notably, the home of the legendary Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine. Sadly, the Mining Camp burned down in 2017, and is still yet to make a comeback.
Description: A wooden sign with chiseled text reads "MINING CAMP RESTAURANT AND TRADING POST". Below is a window showing a desert landscape with rock formations, a cactus, and a building. A cartoon prospector with a white mustache and beard stands in the foreground. Text at the bottom states "AIR CONDITIONED APACHE JUNCTION, AZ SINCE 1961".
