Description: This design comes from an untitled Japanese picture postcard, originally color lithograph with ink on card stock, which was likely produced around 1906. The postcard represents a mood of political disillusionment after the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905). I have carefully redrawn, recolored, and refinished this work of art by hand in order to preserve this interesting piece of history. The text reads: “Ah, have we been sold out?! Ah, have we been deceived?!” Check out more of my art and products at https://spacedoglaika.com/
