Punk Jazz Bags
Description: Bad Brains are an American rock band formed in Washington, D.C. in 1977. They are widely regarded as among the pioneers of hardcore punk, though the band's members have objected to this term to describe their music. They are also an adept reggae band, while later recordings featured elements of other genres like funk, heavy metal, hip hop and soul. Bad Brains are followers of the Rastafari movement. Originally formed as a jazz fusion ensemble under the name Mind Power, Bad Brains developed a very fast and intense punk rock sound which came to be labeled "hardcore", and was often played faster and more emphatically than many of their peers.
Description: Where bebop meets hardcore! This subversive fan art tribute mashes the legendary John Coltrane with the iconic Black Flag four-bar logo. Launching ahead of the Coltrane 100 Centennial in 2026, the design features a gritty, high-contrast silhouette of Coltrane within the punk bars. A perfect statement piece for jazz historians, punk rockers, and fans of the "A Love Supreme" legacy.
Description: Black Country New Road is one of the most interesting new rock bands from the UK. Along with Black Midi, Squid, Shame, Idles or Girl Band, Black Country is one of the most interesting rising hype bands that mixes rock, punk, post-hardcore and jazz with influences of Scott Walker, Slint, Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel or Godspeed You Black Emperor among many others. Their second album, Ants from Up there marked a departure from the obscure noise-rock and post-punk of their debut towards a more folksy and beautiful post-rock with spaces for a lot of silences and slow building climaxes.
Description: The Jazz Butcher minimalist art inspired by the indie, alternative and slightly surreal spirit of Pat Fish. A clean black‑and‑white design with a subtle retro touch that fits perfectly with the band’s aesthetic. Ideal for fans of The Jazz Butcher, British post‑punk, and 80s/90s indie music. The minimalist composition stands out especially well on black and military green apparel, giving the design a modern and elegant look.
