Rusalka Bags
Description: Don’t follow her into the water. In Ukrainian and broader Slavic folklore, the Rusalka is a mysterious female spirit associated with rivers, lakes, marshes, and other dark waters. This folk-horror design avoids the modern mermaid look and instead imagines the Rusalka as something half-seen beneath the surface — pale face, flowing hair, and one hand breaking the moonlit reflection among reeds and lily pads. Rendered in a distressed vintage illustration style with Ukrainian-inspired ornament, this design is for fans of Ukrainian folklore, Slavic mythology, eerie water legends, dark fantasy, gothic art, and old stories that warn you not to wander too close to the shore after dark. If something in the water calls to you, keep walking.
Description: A haunting typography composition featuring Boggart, Mauthe, Shuck, Rusalka, and Wendigo in distressed white blackletter. These names evoke eerie supernatural beings and legendary creatures drawn from British, Slavic, and North American folklore. The stark monochrome palette and medieval Gothic lettering create a mysterious dark folklore aesthetic, capturing the atmosphere of ghost stories, cryptid lore, paranormal legends, mythical monsters, and centuries-old tales of strange entities lurking beyond the ordinary world.
