Description: Mitchell's Fold is a Bronze Age stone circle in south-west Shropshire. According to legend, a giant kept his magical cow here. She gave limitless quantities of milk until a malicious witch milked her dry using a sieve. As punishment for her crime, the witch was turned into stone and surrounded by other stones to prevent her escaping.
