Description: You leave in the morning with everything you own in a little black case Alone on a platform, the wind and the rain on a sad and lonely face Mother will never understand why you had to leave But the answers you seek will never be found at home The love that you need will never be found at home Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
Description: Scritti Politti are a British band, originally formed in 1977 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England, by the Welsh singer-songwriter Green Gartside. He is the only member of the band to have remained throughout the group's history. Beginning as a punk-inspired collective of art students and squatters, Scritti Politti released several early post-punk recordings on Rough Trade Records before transitioning into a mainstream pop music project in the early to mid-1980s, enjoying significant success in the record charts in the UK and the US. The group's most successful album, 1985's Cupid & Psyche 85, spawned three UK Top 20 hits with "Wood Beez (Pray Like Aretha Franklin)", "Absolute", and "The Word Girl".
Description: This stark black-and-white stencil artwork of Front 242 captures the militant precision and futuristic aura of one of the pioneers of electronic body music (EBM). The leather jackets, dark shades, and upward gazes evoke discipline and defiance, perfectly mirroring their aggressive beats and industrial soundscapes. Emerging in the 1980s, Front 242 fused synth-driven force with commanding stage presence, influencing the evolution of industrial, techno, and electronic dance music. This design pays tribute to their legacy as innovators of a genre where rhythm becomes both machine and body, relentless and unforgettable.
