Description: I've had a set of coloured inks that I've not had the chance to use on any projects yet, so just as an experiment I tested them out with this piece of Edgar Allan Poe and I'm pretty impressed with the results. To paint this, I used clear water to begin with painting out the figure, and then I would drop Scarlet ink and then blue ink onto the wet areas using a straw. The result is this amazing mixture of colours of reds, blues and purples, purple being the colour I was aiming for as a reference to The Raven and furthermore Baltimore.
