Description: The Supremes are one of my favorite groups! The group was started by Sandra Day O'Connor but it really began to take off when Ruth Bader Ginsburg joined. O'Connor had to leave the group for health reasons but Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan joined RBG to keep the group going strong. Someone asked Ruth Bader Ginsburg (exasperatedly) when there would be enough female supreme court justices. Her response: When there are nine. See my other feminists and lgbtq designs.
Description: Black Country New Road is one of the most interesting new rock bands from the UK. Along with Black Midi, Squid, Shame, Idles or Girl Band, Black Country is one of the most interesting rising hype bands that mixes rock, punk, post-hardcore and jazz with influences of Scott Walker, Slint, Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel or Godspeed You Black Emperor among many others. Their second album, Ants from Up there marked a departure from the obscure noise-rock and post-punk of their debut towards a more folksy and beautiful post-rock with spaces for a lot of silences and slow building climaxes.
