Description: Tires Etc is a real-life auto repair and tire shop located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The shop serves as the primary filming location and the inspiration for the show's fictional workplace, the Valley Forge Automotive Center The Valley Forge Automotive Center is the primary, fictional setting for the Netflix workplace comedy series Tires. The show follows the hapless manager Will, who struggles to keep his father's failing auto-repair shop afloat while constantly being undermined and tormented by his troublemaking cousin and employee, Shane (played by comedian Shane Gillis).
Description: Armstrong Tires was founded in 1912 by George F. Armstrong in a small New Jersey loft. By the early 1960s, Armstrong had become a well-known tire brand and the 5th largest tire manufacturer in the world. Purchased by Pirelli in the late 1980s, by 2012 the brand was close to being phased out completely, which is when ZAFCO stepped in with the goal of acquiring and rebuilding Armstrong from the ground up.
