Description: Dracula's Dog is a 1977 American horror film starring Michael Pataki and José Ferrer. It revolves around a dog who is turned into a vampire by a member of the Dracula family, who is also a vampire. The film's screenplay by Frank Ray Perilli was the basis for the 1977 paperback, Hounds of Dracula, which was re-titled Dracula's Dog upon the film's release in the U.S. In the U.K., both the novel and film were titled Zoltan... Hound of Dracula. The movie sees the Russian army unearth the vault of Dracula, and accidentally unleash his undead human slave and the Count’s vampire hellhound Zoltan. These friends need a new master and head for Los Angeles to find Dracula’s last living descendant, family man Michael Drake.
