Spanish Navy McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II Farnborough 2014 Following the UK government's crazy idea to retire the Harrier in 2010, without having a replacement in place, I never thought I'd see one in the UK again. The Harrier is supposed to be replaced by the F-35. This old girl from Spain, showed up the F-35 by simply turning up at Farnborough in 2014 after the F-35 fleet was grounded with engine problems (Not a Rolls Royce). Lockheed Martin and their various partners must have been highly embarrassed.
