Palm Tree Plantation on Peat Land Baseball T-Shirt

This is an old illustration about the relation between palm tree planted on peat land to climate change. Peat land, while not really suitable for farming, can still be used to store a lot of water. Unfortunately, corporation’s greediness to widen palm tree plantations force peat land to lost its functions. By releasing stored water, the land also releases much more CO2 into the atmosfer, making global warming runs faster than before. This design is suitable for generations that care about global warming and climate change, also ones who are interested in this unique type of land found in Indonesia and several tropical countries.
