The Devil Tarot Card Baseball T-Shirt
The Devil Tarot Card Baseball T-Shirt
designed and sold by Von Kowen
In the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the Devil is derived in part from Eliphas Levi's famous illustration "Baphomet" in his Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie (1855). This devil is based on my Baphocat design. It is a sphynx cat, with ram horns and wings. It has inverted pentagram, 666 and Leviathan cross symbols. Two demons, male and female are chained to the Leviathan cross. It also has bird legs... I am not sure if that is right, but on the original Rider-Waite card the Devils legs always remined me of bird claws. My devil has 6 perky breasts too... The card represents: Being seduced by the material world and physical pleasures; lust for and an obsession with money and power. Also: Living in fear, domination and bondage.
