Does the magpie guard, provide or steal the numbers? I'm not entirely sure. Either way, the wait will be a long one. This oil painting features a black-billed magpie, one of the corvids we see daily here in the west. They are clever, fierce, curious birds.

I was so surprised to see a Yellow-Billed Magpie for the first time, while visiting the Los Banos Creek Reservoir in California. What a unique and majestic bird. Bird watchers will love these adorable wild bird, wildlife gifts.
