Teach Me How To Hygge: Cozy Designs for Winter
We're in the thick of winter now, which means it's time to light the fire, hide under some blankets, make a mug of hot chocolate, and get your hygge on. What is hygge? According to the blog Hygge House, "hygge is a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cosy, charming, or special." Hygge is an way of living more than it is a style; it comes from a deep feeling of contentment and warmth!
In the spirit of hygge, we've decided to put together some of our coziest-feeling designs from the site. These designs make us feel like settling in on the couch with a good movie and a pot of tea, while snow piles up outside and fairy lights twinkle! If you want more hygge information, you can check out the official Hygge Denmark page or these fun articles from Elle and the New Yorker. You'll be a hyggexpert in no time!
