Flapper Cards
Description: The Flapper is an illustration by Frank Xavier Leyendecker, the lesser-known of the two Leyendecker brothers, both of whom were extremely talented illustrators. The image form suggests a young lady maturing into adulthood during the jazz age with her provocative clothing and bright colors providing notional rejection of the conservative mores of behavior and dress that a 'proper' young lady of the time was supposed to adhere to. This particular piece was created as a cover for Life in 1922, but saw a resurgence in popularity as a poster in the '70s.
Description: "El chimpancé enamorado" (The Chimpanzee in Love), created by the famous Spanish cartoonist, animator, and caricaturist Joaquín Xaudaró in Paris in 1912. It was later published in the Spanish magazine Blanco y Negro in January 1913 under the caption "Para quién es esta naranja?" (Who is this orange for?)

Description: xIntroducing "Wonder Woman 1924" by the visionary artist, Izzit-Reel. This captivating Ai-assisted digital artwork transports you to the roaring 1920s, reimagining Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in a unique and nostalgic light. With a nod to the Silent Generation, Izzit-Reel's creation showcases Wonder Woman with 1920s-inspired hair and costume, exuding a touch of vintage charm. In this portrait, Gal Gadot, in her Wonder Woman persona, wields the Sword of Justice, its gleam and lens flares artfully obscuring the skirt's high side cut, adding an air of mystery and allure. Her expression and posture carry a hint of shyness and humility, deviating from the usual powerful depictions of the iconic character.
