Gauntlet Arcade Gaming Cards
Description: Gauntlet is a fantasy-themed hack-and-slash arcade game developed and released in 1985 as one of the first multiplayer dungeon crawl games. The core design of Gauntlet comes from 1983 8-bit dungeon crawler, Dandy, and also bears striking resemblance to the action-adventure maze game Time Bandit. The arcade version of Gauntlet was released in November 1985 and was initially available only as a dedicated four-player cabinet and a two-player cabinet variant in June 1986, aimed at operators who didn’t have sufficient space for the four-player version. The game is set within a series of top-down, third-person, orthographic mazes where the object is to find and touch the designated exit in every level.
Description: Are you a retro gamer wanting to let others know what you’re all about? This “You Are Full of Bombs and/or Keys” design featuring Gauntlet’s full inventory message should do the trick and if someone does bite on this particularly obscure bait, befriend and/or date them as they are obviously super cool.
Description: Gauntlet Dark Legacy is a fast-paced hack-and-slash arcade dungeon crawler released by Midway in 2000 as an expanded version of Gauntlet Legends. The evil wizard Garm summons the powerful demon Scorn, who betrays Garm, traps his soul, and scatters sacred runstones across eight distinct realms. The good wizard Sumner recruits a band of heroes to travel through worlds like the Sky Dominion, Forsaken Province, Ice, Desert, and Dreamworld to defeat Scorn's minions and recover the runstones. Cooperative Multiplayer supports up to four players locally to fight through monster hordes, smash enemy generators, and share loot.
