Hyperrealistic Cards
Description: Photographed by myself and drawn using HB pencil, Promarkers, pencil and white Posca paint pen. This was one of my first real attempts at hyperrealism, and it really stretched me as an artist. I learnt how mixing media could make a piece bold and give it greater depth. I tried acrylics, watercolours and pencils, but Promarkers and pencil built the depth I was looking for, and the white marker gave it that intense shine.

I did this whilst studying hyperrealism and really enjoyed using my pencil colours to create this gorgeous transparency, and again using an eraser to get that shine. I love drawing these gorgeous sweets and making them look almost like you could eat the page!
