Description: With their cities gone, humans live as refugees on ships and ruined islands. However, Imulsion on the surface explodes in growth, mutating both humans and remaining Locust into feral Lambent monstrosities. Marcus's father, a brilliant scientist who was secretly alive, builds a global energy wave device. When activated, it eradicates all Imulsion, destroying every mutated creature and ending the war for good—though at immense personal sacrifice.
Description: The main protagonist, Marcus Fenix, is a disgraced soldier sprung out of prison because humanity is running out of troops. Marcus leads Delta Squad—a crew of heavily armored, battle-hardened soldiers ("Gears") equipped with chainsaw-rifles—on a suicide mission to drop a massive bomb underground into the Locust caverns.
