Monster Medusa Cards
Description: The Gorgon Medusa was a mythological monster who would transform you in stone if she'd look at you. Her hair were braided with snakes. Perseus got close to her with the help of a mirror, he slayed her and cut her head off, then went to rescue Andromeda - but this is an other story ! This is one of my actual mosaics, made of glass and stone tiles. You can see my mosaics at : www.mosaic-blues.com.
Description: The myth is real — and she's not here to play nice. This Queen of Stone Medusa tee showcases the Gorgon in fierce form, with venomous snakes, glowing eyes, and the immortal command: "Look Into My Eyes." Perfect for mythology fans, goth fashion lovers, or anyone who appreciates ancient rage made modern.
Description: This piece was inspired by the Medusa myth of Greek mythology. Her story has evolved greatly over time starting as a nameless gorgon icon used for protection to become a modern-day symbol for women who have suffered from abuse. She was a woman turned into a fearsome creature by Athena who had the power to turn men to stone with a single look.
Description: Medusa head from a 1910 book called The Tale of Lohengrin by T.W. Rolleston. Just creepy enough to make a great Halloween design.
