Moth Cards
Description: This is an old wood cut of a Death's Head Moth. It looks almost pretty, doesn't it? They've been around forever, and even Edgar Allen Poe wrote about them. But you probably remember it best from the 1991 film, "Silence of the Lambs" "Agent Starling, meet Mr. Acherontia styx. Better known to his friends as the Death's-head moth."

Description: Luna moths are attracted to the moon as a source of light. In spiritual terms, they signify rebirth and new beginnings. Because they gravitate towards light in the darkness of the night, the luna moth is seen as a symbol of spiritual transformation, of heightened awareness, and a striving towards truth. Moths are curious creatures, flying in a cloak of darkness, yet are attracted to bright light. Their presence can give mixed feelings of wonder and unease, as it is hard to know what their intention is. Their mysterious nature may make you wonder what they mean spiritually, and what it means when they visit you. Moths represent transformation, hidden knowledge, inner wisdom, psychic abilities, and shadow work.
