Description: inspired by the pop art movement of the 1960s and jean luc godard's 1962 classic french new wave film vivre sa vie, arrives a mashup design showing the lead, nana, played by anna karina, expressing existential ennui of her plight as a sex worker in 1960s paris. vivre sa vie is a film i return to again and again. its mood and somber tone capture such a relevant truth. it inspires me to connect to the deeper, haunting experience of trying to live and make it out of suffering, how as individuals we are responsible for ourselves and yet how defeating preexisting social, political, historical structures can be, and how they potentially confine us to tragic fates.
