Description: Skippers was a fast food chain founded in 1969 by Herb Rosen in Bellevue, Washington with a menu of chowder, fish and chips, and other fried seafood. Skippers grew rapidly during the '70s, with new restaurants being opened in multiple western states and British Columbia, Canada, until peaking at around 200 locations in the early '80s. In 1989, growth had slowed, and the chain was sold, resulting in the closing of several locations. Having been largely stagnant, Skippers was would be sold several more times before filing for bankruptcy in 2006. 14 of the 58 remaining stores were sold ahead of the bankruptcy, and after the sales of individual units, the remaining stores were closed and Skippers ceased to exist.

The Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin took a job to transport a passenger and her spawn to her husband, who had settled on Trask as it was the only world hospitable to their species. As they came into the atmosphere, Djarin had to manually land the Razor Crest with no guidance and crashed into the shallow sea. He paid a Mon Calamari a thousand credits to fix his ship as he entered the port town. Djarin reunited "Frog Lady" with her husband before entering the local inn. He paid a Mon Calamari server in Calamari Flan for information on his kind. He was directed to a Quarren, who offered him passage to meet a group of his people.
