100 years. That’s how long women in the U.S. have had the right to vote. The 19th amendment was ratified on August 18, 1920, and a century later, over 50 million more women are voting than in 1920. Through perseverance and determination in the decades that followed 1920, all female citizens in America now have this right. We still have need for much more positive change.
