A view across the Old Chemical Beach, passed Liddle Stack, over Noses Point, Seaham Harbour and off north to Sunderland. The Heritage Cost, has a number of little bays in the area, the beaches vary from rock and shingle to soft sand. Here the view is over the older beaches, that were used as a dumping ground for the waste materials of the mines and the chemical factory of Seahams industrial past. The wooden uprights show the route the old wagons took to the dumping areas. All cleaned now and beaches that have been awarded Blue Flag status.
