Cactus Growing In a Tree Crewneck Sweatshirt

Cactus in the Tree - Flood 2010 - Bentsen Rio State Park by Debra Martz I shot this image back in January 2017 while hiking the trails at Bentson-Rio State Park in southern Texas, thinking it was kind of odd seeing cactus high up in the tree. On a return trip to the park in March 2017, I took a tram ride and the driver stopped and pointed out that very cactus. She explained how the landscape was completely changed by the flood of 2010 and the cactus not only showed how high the waters were but that was the only cactus left in the park in the aftermath.
