Pewsey Wharf on the Kennet and Avon Canal in Wiltshire, England. This is in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Pewsey. The canal reached here in 1810 when the wharf would have been a hive of industrial activity. However, the construction of the Great Western Railway which arrived at Pewsey in 1862 meant that the canal gradually fell into disuse.
