Ok, I know. It's not May. But this is the Southern hemisphere here where I am, and it is Spring time all the same. Darling buds of September just doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? I seem to be a tad obsessed with miniaturizing my little ones... perhaps there is a subliminal longing to keep them as small as possible as long as possible? I don't know, maybe it's just because it's really fun to do. As a child I loved stories like 'The Borrowers' and Charles Kingsley's "Waterbabies" ... The thought of little people was so fascinating. I wanted one!! A pet person to sit on my shoulder and talk to. I have ten now, totally worth it, only they're not this small. : )

I've been doodling with colored pencil crayons, which are lovely, but sometimes when you take away all the color you still like what remains... (though, of course, I'll probably post the colorful version, too.)
