The design shows a fancy dodo silhouette in front of casual retro colors. Unfortunately, this great chubby flightless bird became extinct on Mauritius several years ago. But now it is supposed to come back by means of genetic engineering. Good idea?

This block print design is based on the famous paleolithic cave art from the Lascaux Caves. The animal depicted here is an aurochs, a type of now extinct wild cattle. To create this I first hand-carved, then printed, my own block carving of this design then scanned the print.

Anomalocaris ("unusual shrimp") is a genus of Anomalocarida, a group of extinct, marine, invertebrate animals with no fixed systematic classification, possibly related to the arthropods (Arthropoda). Anomalocaris was the largest animal known from that time in the Early and Middle Cambrian Period (530 to 501 million years ago), with a length of between 60 and 120 centimeters.

Gone, but not forgotten. There was nothing "Short" about the Short-faced bear!
