The band's early lineup also included bassist David Ellefson, drummer Gar Samuelson, and guitarist Chris Poland. Over the years, the band's lineup has gone through many changes, with Mustaine being the only constant member. Megadeth is known for their aggressive, fast-paced music, with complex guitar riffs, shredding solos, and politically charged lyrics.
