Of all the photos I took at the Tower of London, this is probably my favorite. It ishe clock on the Waterloo Block Jewel House as seen from a window in the White Tower.

A symbol for the Board of Ordnance which used to call the Tower of London home before it was disbanded in 1855. This small insignia can be found all most lamp posts and wall lights around the castle.

This square turret sits atop the Bell Tower at the Tower of London, which is situated just inside the gate. A bell inside would sound to warn prisoners who were able to roam the grounds that curfew was about to begin.

The Yeomen Warders of Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress, the Tower of London, and members of the Yeoman Guard's Sovereign's Body Guard, also known as the Beefeaters, are ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London. In principle, they are responsible for looking after any prisoners in the Tower and protecting the British Crown Jewels. They also run guided tours since the Victorian period. Traitor's Gate. Tower of London Many Tudor prisoners entered the Tower of London through the Traitors' Gate. The gate was built by Edward I, to provide a water gate entrance to the Tower.
