From the cover of the 1925 book that adapted Arnold Fanck's groundbreaking film to print. The Wonders of Skiing was considered the first feature-length documentary, filmed in the mountains of Germany using novel and breathtaking techniques to capture the excitement of alpine skiing. The film is largely responsible for the mass appeal of skiing as a pastime.

Speeding down the piste's, it was all a blur. The original photo was taken by me in the German Alps, then produced a series of CMY silkscreen prints. These are two prints from that series
