the slam dunk champ

In 2020, I was commissioned by a lawyer from southern california to create two large paintings for her. The topic of both paintings was about how she artfully handles her wild, complex cases. This is a cropped image of one of the two artworks.

This painting is called “Vandalizing OMA’s Villa dall’Ava with Care”. It's an acrylic painting, 36*48 inch, and commissioned by Noelle Minto Legends has it that Rem Koolhaas actually had a #giraffe brought on the site to be in his photographs of the building as a scaling diagram. I mean it’s not really a legend because you can find the photos online but they all suck very much. So I added these pink giraffes roaming just because.

With no action to curb greenhouse gas emissions, out-of-control sea level rise and warmer waters, we might see the giant sea turtle at the costs of Denmark. But I’m sure Lemvig Klimatorium would never let that happen. The iconic Climate Change center in western Denmark was named building of the year for 2020 in Denmark’s Årets Byggeri awards.

I re-imagined the Smørblomsten Kindergarten designed by the architecture firm COBE. I think it looks better!
