Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and its related disorders don't really show up well on lab reports. There will be one thing that's a little high or low, but nothing that medical professionals seems to care to investigate. Help fight for patient rights with the help of this design!

This design features two hand drawn zebras that nearly look the same, just like how two people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome can look the same, but have very different symptoms. This makes EDS difficult to diagnose and treat, since no two zebras are alike.

This design features a stick figure struggling under the weight of a spoon. Spoonies start the day with a set number of spoons, losing one for each activity they do. Once out, they can no longer manage the simple activities of life.

What Life With A Chronic Illness Is Like: Ran Out Of Spoons is about Spoon Theory, a metaphor for how much energy (spoons) a person has available each day, and how spoonies have a limited number, forcing them to carefully plan each day to not run out of spoons.

Just because someone with an invisible disability does not appear to be disabled or ill does not mean they are not. Treating someone with an invisible disability like they can just get over it or that they don't look sick really hurts.

This design features what life with a chronic illness is like in stick figure form. Flare days are common for people with chronic illnesses, where symptoms of their condition are at their worst.
