In October of 1994, three student filmmakers disappeared in the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland while shooting a documentary. A year later their footage was found.

For fans of the fascinating 'Backrooms' lore, this design salutes, 'The PoolRooms', or 'Level 37'. One might find a sign such as this there in this mysterious level. This is one of 4 versions of this design, with the rest, and much more, in my shop.

As a huge horror fan, I had this idea to put together a chalkboard flow chart design categorizing the most popular horror films I could think of by sub-genre. Initially the idea was to organized them by era, but as I planned out the layout sub-genre's came naturally. I couldn't include everything and there are a few places where I've had to make a judgment call on which category they fit best into, when they spread across a few different ones.
